Meet the Staff

Dolph Federico - President and Owner

Dolph FedericoAfter careers in broadcast radio, and law enforcement, Dolph founded Pelican Graphics in 2001.

Dolph enjoys a 'hands on' approach to managing business. He almost single handedly re-built his home after it was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. He has been intimately involved in the conception and planning of numerous concerts and festivals. He has served on various public service committees, worked on dozens of political campaigns, and was recently appointed as a board member to the "Take me Fishing" foundation.

Dolph attended the University of New Orleans and the Slidell Regional Public Service Academy. He worked as a disc jockey and broadcast engineer at WRNO, KXOR, WZRH, WCKW, WLTS and WTKL. Upon entering law enforcement, he served as Academy President. After several years of service, he completed advanced training and was appointed to the SWAT team as the hostage negotiator. As a veteran officer he earned numerous awards and citations. He became an FTO, trained rookie officers and served as an instructor at the Citizens' Police Academy before moving into private business.

Dolph lives in the New Orleans area with his two dogs, Gracie and Molly.


Bill Scaife - Lead Designer / Graphic Artist

Billy ScaifeBilly graduated from Southeast college of Technology with a degree in Graphic Design. He personally supervises all design projects. He is skilled in multiple graphics software including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Billy is also an accomplished illustrator. He has created logos, websites, campaign literature, wide format signs & banners, vehicle wraps, and thousands of T-shirt designs. His work has appeared on NBC's Dateline, Time Magazine, CNN, ESPN and hundreds of national outlets. He has produced art used by the NFL, the NBA and MLB. Billy lives in New Orleans.



Danny Salzer - Production Manager

Danny SaizerDanny supervises the production staff and interns. As production manager he operates and maintains over a half million dollars of equipment every day. Danny also installs graphics at local businesses, sports arenas and municipal properties.

He is certified by the 3M Corporation to install vehicle wraps and recently completed training with Montreal's Stageline Mobile Stage Company to become a licensed operator of Pelican Events' SL100 stage unit. Danny is a Sergeant in the US Army as served in Iraq. He lives in New Orleans and performs as a keyboard player/vocalist with his band "Sick Like Sinatra".

Judy Martin - Apparel Manager

Judy MartinAunt Judy is directly in charge of all apparel purchases and decorating. She operates the Melco embroidery machines, the Brother GT-541's and the heat presses. She has embroidered millions of stitches on tens of thousands of items. From polo shirts, to caps, jackets, and tote bags, her keen eye and attention to detail have earned her praise from the most demanding corporate clients. She resides in Kenner.
