QUALITY. CLEANLINESS. PRIVACY.

Pelican Events began in 2001 as a live event production company, producing large-scale
festivals and managing complex logistics throughout Louisiana. Over time, we recognized
a growing demand for dependable, high-quality restroom and sanitation services—
especially on tight timelines and in high-pressure environments. That realization sparked
our transition into the portable restroom space, where we quickly found our stride and
became the primary restroom vendor for the film industry in South Louisiana. From
major studio productions to fast-moving indie shoots, we’ve supported hundreds of sets
with clean, discreet, and reliable service tailored to the realities of on-location work.

Pelican is operated by a former SWAT team member who understands one simple
truth: the world is a 24-hour environment. Production doesn’t sleep. Construction
doesn’t stop. And emergencies don’t wait for business hours. That’s why we respond to all
calls—any time, any day, in any conditions—and dispatch with urgency. We move when
you move. Period.

Today, our portalets serve a wide range of industries, from commercial construction sites
to special events and emergency response. We earned our reputation on film sets, where
discretion, cleanliness, and reliability aren’t optional—they’re expected. Every unit is
meticulously cleaned and maintained by our full-time, background-checked technicians.
No temp labor. No missed details. Just clean, dependable service backed by a responsive
in-house team. If you care about presentation as much as performance, Pelican is your
trusted partner in portable sanitation.

Pelican Events Was Founded

In 2001, Dolph founded Pelican Events, initially as a music and festival production company. Under his leadership, Pelican Events grew into the largest privately-owned festival producer in the South, producing over 200 events annually. With a keen eye for innovation, Dolph introduced new techniques in mobile staging and event branding that have become industry standards today.

As the Louisiana film industry began to take shape, Dolph saw an opportunity to apply his SWAT-trained mindset and live production expertise to film services. This resulted in significant advancements to film location services throughout the state. Within five years, Pelican had achieved 100% market share for on-location production services in Louisiana, providing essential equipment like restrooms, generators, and HVAC systems to productions across the state.

A recognized leader in Louisiana’s film industry, Dolph is an active board member of Film Louisiana and has played a pivotal role in advocating for the Louisiana Film Tax Credit program. His tireless efforts earned him the distinction of 2022 Louisiana Film Industry Person of the Year, an award that recognizes his relentless work to protect and enhance the state’s film industry.

Dolph’s Community Leadership And Family Man

Dolph’s dedication extends beyond business, as he serves as an active member of the Louisiana Irish-Italian Parade Board of Directors and was honored as the Italian Grand Marshal in 2016.
