It's officially summer!!!!!!
School is out and you're looking for things to do with the kiddos? We have some fun events for ya this weekend.
NEW ORLEANS OYSTER FEST held in Woldenberg Park (right outside of the Aquarium)
The Fest includes all of the Oysters your little heart desires, lots of music including some NOLA favs; Amanada Shaw, Bucktown Allstars, and Bag of Donuts. Shop in the crafts booths and pick up some local Oyster crafts,
and if you're feeling crazy enter the Oyster Shucking Contest and the Oyster Eating Contest.

Brother Martin Fishing Rodeo
Saturday June 1st 2 PM
Online Registration is closed but you can still walk up and register at the door.
If you're not into fishing there will still be LOTS of family fun. Food, Beer, Music, Kid Games and Prizes.

6th Annual Heart of Atchafalaya Spring Fest (rescheduled from May 11)
Feel like taking a little drive away from the city for the weekend? Head over to Butte La Rose for their Fishing Rodeo and Jambalaya cookoff. There will be Arts and Crafts booths, a Live Auction, and a Fun Jump for the kids.
